Project ECHO

Moving Knowledge, Not People

IDRPP Project ECHO

Our Vision & Mission

Vision

To create a strong, connected professional network where early childhood and disability-related providers can collaborate, build skills, and expand their knowledge on topics that impact early childhood development.

Mission

The mission of the Project ECHO–IDRPP Services Division is to strengthen the knowledge, confidence, and capacity of early childhood and disability-related professionals. Through shared learning and guided practice, Project ECHO supports the awareness, identification, and delivery of effective services that improve outcomes for children and families.

Who We Are

Project ECHO® is an innovative lifelong learning and guided practice model designed to exponentially expand workforce capacity and access to best practices. At the core of the ECHO model is Moving Knowledge, Not People. Using interactive videoconferencing, ECHO sessions connect educators, healthcare providers, special service providers, case managers, administrators, and families to real-world, evidence-based guidance—right where they live and work.

Why It Matters

In a largely rural state where specialized expertise is not always locally available, ECHO Networks remove barriers to professional support and learning. By providing ongoing access to expert knowledge and peer collaboration, Project ECHO improves services and outcomes for educators, providers, children, patients, and families across early childhood and disability systems.
