Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities: Education for Disability Providers
Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities: Education for Disability Providers and Mental Health Providers is a knowledge-sharing, virtual learning community of practice designed to provide free professional development and continued education for disability service and mental health providers. Information presented is intended to increase disability service and mental health provider knowledge of mental health and intellectual/developmental disability definitions and prevalence, improve service provision and coordination, documentation of mental health concerns in disability services, and lived experiences of individuals with mental health concerns and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Disability and mental health professionals who may benefit from participation in this ECHO include mental health providers, support coordinators, direct support professionals, and other disability service provider administrators and staff.
Sessions will be held the 2nd Monday of each month from
11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. MST via Zoom video conferencing technology.
