Time to Act ECHO: Substance Abuse

Time to Act Substance Abuse ECHO is a statewide training initiative that is intended to build provider capacity and confidence in applying evidence-based practice around topics that deal with substance abuse across the life span or those who are suspected of being impacted by opioid use and related trauma exposure. The ECHO series will help enhance professional networking throughout the state by bringing together providers from across disciplines to discuss and learn about topics related to substance abuse and the impact it has on the entire family unit.

Participants will receive highly relevant professional development, case-based learning, and opportunities to network with other professionals. This will result in teams that are trained more effectively to work with their clients.

Topics include early identification, NOWS and early intervention, stigma and substance abuse awareness, cultural barriers, and many more.

The target audience of these sessions is substance abuse providers, early childhood providers, behavioral health providers, administrators, mental health community clinics, social workers, pediatricians and other medical providers, and family members.

These sessions are FREE for all participants.

Sessions will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. MST via Zoom video conferencing technology.
