Lil Aggies Classroom Aide

Program: Up to 3 Early Intervention

The Up to 3 program is seeking part-time employees to help with classroom activities, set up, clean up, and overall classroom functioning for children under three with disabilities. Applicants must be available Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 11:00 am year-round and some time before and after for setup and clean up. The work location will be in Logan, Utah.

Language Coach (ASL)

The ASL Language Coach provides language acquisition, fluency development, and cultural immersion supports for interpreters. As a Deaf language model and cultural expert, the coach facilitates authentic language experiences that strengthen ASL proficiency, conversational competence, linguistic accuracy, and understanding of Deaf culture and community values. Must have evening availability. This position is telework-eligible within the state of Utah. Telework outside of the state of Utah is subject to review and approval by the University prior to a job offer being extended.

ASL/English Interpreter Mentor

The ASL/English Interpreter Mentor provides guidance, coaching, and professional development support to interpreters seeking to improve their linguistic, ethical, cultural, and professional competencies. The mentor works collaboratively with novice, developing, and experienced interpreters to strengthen interpreting skills, increase confidence, and promote adherence to professional standards and best practices. The mentor conducts comprehensive assessments, facilitates individual mentoring sessions, and provides performance feedback. The mentor may also develop and deliver training opportunities as requested and as resources permit. Must have evening availability. This position is telework-eligible within the state of Utah. As part of our team, you will provide care to individuals with disabilities. Stride Services is part of the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice at Utah State University. Stride is committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. We provide services to youth and adults with developmental disabilities living in Cache Valley and southern Idaho. Our services focus on inclusion and integration and individualized supports that ensure access to community, independence, and productivity. If you want to have a purpose in your work and are passionate about caring for others, please apply! Candidates must be available to work 3 to 4 times per week Monday through Friday between 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
