Bora Lee

Program Director, Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP)

Bora Lee is the director of the Utah Assistive Technology Program within the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice at Utah State University. 

Bora holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Handong Global University in Industrial Design and a Master of Arts in Special Education, with a concentration in moderate to severe disabilities. She earned her Ed. D. in educational leadership from California State University, Los Angeles, focusing on transitioning to adulthood for minority students with disabilities.

Bora is highly engaged in supporting consumers' access to assistive technology, smart home technology, workplace accommodations, and independent living. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Her expertise also includes transitioning to adulthood for youth with developmental disabilities and working with families from diverse backgrounds.

Her parents committed their lives to serving as missionaries for more than 30 years, instilling in her the values of selflessness and giving. Their influence has guided her life and her career choices.
