Technical Assistance Specialist II

Jena Fahlbush,  M.Ed., is a Technical Assistance Specialist II for the National Center on Accessible Digital Educational Materials & Instruction (NCADEMI or “n-cademy") at the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice (IDRPP) at Utah State University. Launched in October 2024, NCADEMI is focused on helping schools and families improve the accessibility of digital educational materials and instruction from preschool through high school graduation.

Since 2015, Jena has led multiple Indiana school districts in developing Accessible Educational Materials (AEM) policies and provided technical assistance on accessibility to Indiana's public PreK-12 schools as a specialist for the PATINS Project, Indiana's former education agency dedicated to equitable learning and access. She has a wide range of classroom experience and is licensed to teach grades K-6. Her roles have included teaching 3rd grade and Kindergarten, as well as working as both a Title I and special education paraprofessional, peer model preschool co-teacher, and Title I instructor.
