Self-advocates, families and professionals: Join us on Feburary 3 for Disability Advocacy Day 2025! This is a virtual event where you can expect an overview of the current state of the Utah 2025 Legislative Session and advocacy training. Following the event, we encourage attendees to attend the Legislative Coalition for People with Disabilities Reception at the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City. You will need to register for the events separately.

Overview:

  • 12:00-12:10pm: Welcome and Housekeeping Items

  • 12:10-1:00pm: State of the Session

  • 1:00-1:10pm: Participant Break

  • 1:10-1:55pm: Advocacy Training Sessions

    • Self-advocate training

    • Parents and professionals training

  • 1:55-2:00: Wrap-up
