Assistive Technology Repairs and Customizations

The Utah Assistive Technology Program can repair many AT devices such as: wheelchairs, walkers, rollators, lift chairs, etc. If a device was purchased with insurance, repairs are often covered through device warranty and the user should contact the vendor who sold them the device. However, for unisured devices or devices past warranty, contacting UATP for repairs can be a cost-effective and timely solution.

UATP also offers customization services to people who may need a low-cost, personalized solution to their needs. This is important because sometimes devices off-the-shelf are not affordable, not practical or not quite the right fit. UATP can bridge the gap between an existing device and a need, or build a device from the ground up.
