Adaptive Recreation


The significance of assistive technology in adaptive recreation cannot be overstated. This technology serves as a pivotal force in fostering inclusivity and equal participation in recreational activities, transcending barriers imposed by physical limitations.

The UATP has many tools and technologies for adaptive recreation, including:

  • Frame Runners
  • Attachments for fishing such as the Fishing Palm Cuff and the Reel Deal
  • Attachments for golfing such as the Able Arm
  • Sound Soccer Balls
  • Playing cards with Braille and large print
  • Assistive gaming attachments
  • Camp chair walkers
  • Ergonomic gardening tools with easy grip handles

Frame Running

Thanks to the generosity of the Reeve Foundation, the UATP was able to purchase 8 different Frame Runners, with sizes from mini to extra large, that are available for loan. See below for sizing information.

TOP Sports

TOP Sports is a league for youth ages 3 and up and young adults with disabilities in Cache Valley and surrounding communities to participate in sports with their peers.
