Adaptive Recreation
The significance of assistive technology in adaptive recreation cannot be overstated. This technology serves as a pivotal force in fostering inclusivity and equal participation in recreational activities, transcending barriers imposed by physical limitations.
The UATP has many tools and technologies for adaptive recreation, including:
- Frame Runners
- Attachments for fishing such as the Fishing Palm Cuff and the Reel Deal
- Attachments for golfing such as the Able Arm
- Sound Soccer Balls
- Playing cards with Braille and large print
- Assistive gaming attachments
- Camp chair walkers
- Ergonomic gardening tools with easy grip handles

Frame Running
Thanks to the generosity of the Reeve Foundation, the UATP was able to purchase 8 different Frame Runners, with sizes from mini to extra large, that are available for loan. See below for sizing information.
