Join UATP May 17 for Unified 5K
The Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP) invites you to join us for free at the 2025 Unified 5K Salt Lake City on May 17 at Liberty Park, 600 Harvey Milk Blvd. The race begins at 10 a.m.
The Unified 5K is built on the idea that every person deserves to compete. Whether running, walking or rolling, the event creates opportunities for people with and without disabilities to cross the finish line together.
UATP is proud to be a Regional Charity Partner for the 2025 Unified 5K. Hosted by AdaptX, the event supports the mission to address barriers to fitness and physical activity for people with disabilities through education, advocacy and opportunity.
According to AdaptX, the race is a means of “introducing people with and without disabilities to adaptive sports to rewrite the narrative on expectations.”
As part of this partnership, UATP participants can register for free.
“UATP is excited to be part of the Unified 5K and cheer on athletes of all abilities as they cross the finish line," said UATP Director Bora Lee.
