For over 20 years Tracy D. Sorensen has been helping children, adolescents, adults and families. His experience includes being an in-home service coordinator, clinical therapist, case manager, parenting coach and substance abuse/mental health therapist. He has extensive experience leading group and individual therapy sessions, teaching parenting classes, leading domestic violence prevention groups and overall helping individuals and families face and overcome various challenges. He is passionate about helping people and is excited to work now with children and parents specifically identifying ways they can improve communication skills and modify challenging behaviors. As an Aggie alumni he is happy to be back at USU. He holds a bachelors degree in Social Work and a Masters of Mental Health Counseling. Coming from a large family himself and being a husband and father he brings lots of practical experience to the table, in addition to many years of schooling and work experience. In his spare time he enjoys beekeeping and family history.
