Medical Home Portal for NOWS
The Medical Home Portal is a great place for parents, physicians, and professionals to go for more information and resources on Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome (NOWS). It explains what NOWS is, symptoms, how to care for a baby with NOWS, and lots of helpful resources.

The Impact of the Opioid Crisis on Young Children Training Module

The University of Cincinnati's Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and the Nisonger Center has created a two-hour, online training to provide early childhood educators/care providers introductory information on the following topics: 

Because this training is a collaborative effort between the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) programs at Nisonger Center at The Ohio State University and University of Cincinnati’s Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, some information is Ohio-specific. Utah Opioids
UtahOpioids.org is a part of the Utah Rural Opioid Healthcare Consortium (or UROHC). They bring providers, health care entities, federally qualified health centers, public and behavioral health organizations, and nonprofit organizations together to coordinate resources, expertise, and efforts to combat the opioid issues in Beaver, Carbon, Emery, Grand and Iron Counties in Utah.

Integrative Primary Care and Substance Use Disorder Treatment ECHO

University of Utah School of Medicine's new ECHO series: Integrative Primary Care & Substance Use Disorder Treatment. It will provide the opportunity to learn best practices in addiction care, including diagnosing, treating, and recovery care, and have open discussions around the management of patients dealing with substance use disorder. 

Topics will touch on issues and cases typically seen in primary care settings with both didactic and case discussion components.
