The Utah MHIDD Training Initiative

The Utah Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (MHIDD) Training Initiative is a five-year grant funded by the Administration on Community Living (ACL).

The funding program’s goal is to improve services and supports for people with co-occurring intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and mental health concerns.

Through this project, mental health services and supports for individuals with IDD will be more:

  • Culturally competent
  • Person-centered
  • Affordable
  • Community integrated

 

National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk

The National Initiative to Address COVID-19 Health Disparities is a four year subcontract with the Office of Health Equity of the Utah Department of Health and Human Services. Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (OT-21), the contract provides for strengthening public health infrastructure and emergency responsiveness in rural communities across Utah.

 

Western Regional Agriculture Stress Assistance Program series

The Western Regional Agricultural Stress Assistance Program series is a series of subcontracts from 2020 to 2025 with Washington State University to address agricultural and farmer stress across the western United States. Funded by the United States Department of Agriculture, the contract provides for a variety of mental health supports, services, and evaluating resources in rural communities that address mental health.
