Biography

Taylor Walters is a dedicated Training and Development Specialist II with a professional background rooted in disability services and advocacy. With a bachelor's degree in human development and Family Studies and currently pursuing an MBA, Taylor brings both academic insight and hands-on experience to the field of workforce development and inclusive support.
Taylor has served in a variety of impactful roles, including Autism Life Skills Coach, Direct Support Professional, Job Coach, and Paraprofessional. Throughout his career, Taylor has remained committed to empowering individuals with disabilities, supporting their independence, and promoting inclusive employment practices. Taylor is also an experienced public speaker, sharing expertise and personal perspective to inform and inspire diverse audiences.
Currently, Taylor is leading the development and delivery of Continuing Education ACRE Trainings and providing technical support for job coaches.
Taylor's contributions have been recognized through several honors, including the 2021 Utah Developmental Disabilities Council (UDDC) Self Advocate of the Year Award and the Heart of a Warrior Award. Additionally, Taylor holds certification as a CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Practitioner.
