The Presidential Primary is on March 3, 2020.

If you are affiliated with either the Democratic or Republican Party, you will automatically receive a mail ballot. Ballots will be mailed to you between February 11, 2020 and February 18, 2020.

Only voters who affiliate with the Republican Party may vote in the Republican Primary. All voters can vote in the Democratic Primary, regardless of affiliation, but you can only vote in one primary.

Don’t remember your affiliation? Check your affiliation.

Want to change your affiliation? The last day to change your party affiliation for the Presidential Primary Election is Monday, February 3, 2020. You will need to submit a new voter registration form; more information is on Utah.gov.  However, if you are an unaffiliated voter, you may change your party affiliation after February 3, 2020 at an early voting location or an Election Day voting location.

Want to vote unaffiliated? You can only do this in the Democratic Primary. Request a ballot from your county clerk.

Want to register to vote? You can register online, by mail, at your county clerk’s office or a polling location.
