Early Intervention Developmental Specialist

Utah State University Institute for Disabilities Research, Policy & Practice (IDRPP) is seeking a Developmental Specialist to join the Up to 3 Early Intervention Program. This specialist provides parent training in all developmental areas through individual and group sessions. They will help facilitate Pyramid Model group services, evaluate child development, and help develop and administer treatment plans. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. This is a full-time, benefited position that can be between 75% - 100% time depending on program needs and the candidate selected. This position is based on the USU-Logan campus with a workspace at the IDRPP.

Teacher, Early Intervention

If hired as an Early Intervention service provider, you will be trained to play a key role in the South East Early Intervention Program, serving children birth to three with disabilities and/or developmental delays in Emery, Carbon and Grand counties. We seek someone who will be a reflective and collaborative provider with an understanding of early child development, and a passion for working on behalf of the healthy development of children and their caregivers. Your home office will be located on the Utah State University Eastern campus in Price with access to campus amenities. This position will support the Pyramid Model project through the collection, evaluation and preparation of project data, and requires the use of the PIDS database and other data collection spreadsheets. The position will provide training and technical assistance to support the local project implementation teams in the accurate use of the PIDS to report program data and will be expected to understand and generate reports from project database and data spreadsheets for the State Leadership Team and project administration as requested. Up to 3 Early Intervention is seeking a motivated, efficient, committed, detail-oriented educator to provide coordination of services to families. The Service Coordinator (Teacher, Early Intervention) coordinates all aspects of Up to 3 with individual families and also connects them to community resources. They ensure appropriate assessment, services and program processes and regulations are provided to families. Because a portion of the communities we serve require services in languages other than English, fluency in Spanish and English is a preferred qualification.
