From the Director: I am pleased to share our 2024 annual report, which highlights the tremendous work and accomplishments of our talented staff and students. As the Director of the IDRPP, I am honored to lead an organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities and their families through our research, training, and service.
This past year has been one of significant growth and achievement for the IDRPP. We have expanded our research portfolio, increased our training offerings, and strengthened our partnerships with state and community organizations who are working to improve the lives of and services for individuals with disabilities across the U.S. ... I am excited about the future of the IDRPP, and we hope that you will take some time to learn more about what we do in this comprehensive annual report.

From the Director: It is my distinct privilege to share this annual report with you and to highlight the efforts of our team here at the Utah State University Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice (USU-IDRPP) during the 2023 fiscal year.

From the Director: This past year has been a whirlwind of new energy and enthusiasm as we have slowly grown into our new name and identity as the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice. Our new name and status have opened up new doors and opportunities for collaboration. In FY 2021, the IDRPP administered a total of 159 projects.
We increased this to 186 unique projects in FY 2022. Through these new projects, we trained a total of 18,833 individuals and provided continuing education for 19,261 individuals in 31 states....

From the Director: The world around us is going through an era of change and upheaval that is unparalleled in its scope and magnitude. The traditional rules of work, school, and daily life have all been called into question and we are all trying to figure out what it means to live and work in a post-COVID world. Some organizations are struggling to adapt and evolve, but the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice (formerly the Center for Persons with Disabilities [CPD]) has continued to grow and thrive despite the many challenges.
