Faith Thomas completed her Ph.D. at Utah State in Disability Disciplines with a focus on transition in June 2020. Prior to coming to USU, Faith was a project coordinator at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, University Center of Excellence for Development Disabilities at Indiana University for 14 years.  As a project coordinator, Faith provided technical assistance to special education districts on transition IEPs, transition services, transition assessments, and evidence-based practices; and collaborated with Vocational Rehabilitation Services to improve the employment outcomes for transition-age youth. She was also the project coordinator for a 5-year NIDILRR research project, The Indiana School-to-Work Collaborative.  In addition, Faith has practical experience as a transition coordinator in a suburban school district. Dr. Thomas' research interests include transition, employment, collaboration, and job retention.
