Biography

Tammy earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education-severe/profound and early childhood and a Master's Degree in Vision Impairments-Birth to 3 from USU. She worked 2years as a developmental preschool teacher and then 12 years for the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind as a Tammy is Co-Director of the South East Early Intervention Program (SEEIP) serving children birth-3 with disabilities and/or developmental delays and their families in Emery, Carbon, and Grand counties. She also serves as a Service Coordinator, Developmental Specialist, and assessor. She especially enjoys leading the Story Time virtual groups where she teaches parents dialogic reading strategies to enhance their child's language development through early literacy. She also enjoys co-leading the Music and Movement groups at various Emery County libraries. Tammy earned a bachelor's degree in special education-severe/profound and early childhood and a master's degree in Vision Impairments-Birth to 3 from USU. She worked 2 years as a developmental preschool teacher and then 12 years for the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind as a birth-3 vision specialist. She has worked for SEEIP since 2010.
